We are very excited to announce that CCB Foundation has received a $50,000 grant for recovery support programs from the Massachusetts Department of Health and Human Services. Funding will be used to help establish a local mentorship program for people in recovery. Many thanks to Senate Minority Leader, Senator Bruce Tarr and Representative Ann-Margaret Ferrante, who made this possible and who recognize that supporting people in recovery is key to battling SUD.

CCB Foundation, Inc. is collaborating with public and private partners to open the first peer-to-peer recovery and support center on Cape Ann. Our goal is to open the The CORE Peer Recovery & Resource Center in 2022.
A peer-to-peer recovery and resource center can be an essential and integral part of a support system for a person who is maintaining their sobriety and long-term recovery. Peer-led recovery centers are particularly successful in aiding recovery because the peer group members are involved in all aspects of the center including program structure, leadership and overall planning of the services offered; giving them ownership, a purpose, and a sense of community.
